Why write a question?
One characteristic of the old I Ching oracle is that it puts emphasis on the consulter's state of mind. Before consulting, one should be serene, still, back straight and calmly breathing. But that is not all. The most important is to ask precisely what you want to know. When one asks the wrong question, there is no right answer.
However, if one asks a question that is precise then that same precision will start to open the doors to a clear answer. At times we have confusing thoughts that in just writing them down seem to clear themselves up. If one accomplishes clarity when asking a question, the answer may come by itself and the oracle will no longer be important.
